Sometimes the best way out is through.
Welcome! I’m Alisha, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University.
For the past decade, I have worked with various non-profit organizations, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds through challenges such as emotional disturbances, attachment styles, parenting, life transitions, trauma, and relational issues. Currently, I specialize in working with adults and teens who are taking meaningful steps toward healing and personal growth.
My goal is to empower individuals in achieving their personal aspirations by providing an authentic, transparent, and supportive therapeutic experience. I view therapy as a collaborative journey—one that fosters self-exploration, reflection, and lasting change. My hope is that through our work together, you feel heard, valued, and equipped to cultivate a purposeful and fulfilling life.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and a Trauma-Informed Care. Above all, I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship to create a safe and meaningful space for healing.
